Day 253 (Week 37) [+29]

No work on site today, nothing was Scheduled... Lucky as it Pelted rain all day... not that it should of made a difference as there is plenty of work to be completed on the inside still.

It is going to be a busy rest of the week.. "Practical Completion" is dues next week

Watch Out - Rain Days

Watch Out

One thing that has really frustrated and Annoyed me with Metricon is the lost time due to rain days.

They Claim just about everything over 0.4mm and it doesnt matter if they did infact work on that day, if  it was a part day or a full day, external or internal work they will still claim it as there "may" or "may not" be an impact to the timeline where the rain "may" or "may not" cause a delay..

They also Claim Sundays and Public Holidays for the same reason that the rain just possibly "may" or "may not" cause a delay..

I mean they hardley even work a Saturday let alone a Sunday to even warrent claiming it as a lost time delay

It feels like just a cheap excuse to get them out of trouble..

Day 252 [+28]

Today the Brickies finished the columns, this time the top was finished alot nicer as well.. howerver the carpenter returned and did some destruction moving the gable roof timber around to accomodate the fact that it was originally bult off centre.

Latley it seems there is mor steps backwards then there are forwards...
