Today the cleaners returned to clean the second half of the front yard... and there was a meeting onsite with the construction team...Maybe they were figuring out how to stuff things up even more, because it is pretty clear they are in no rush to deliver the house anymore... Metricon are wasting time and have a book of excuses. they still cannot tell us a date for practical completion...when they decide to call us back that is.!
Not a happy person right now.

Day 271 [+47]
Not A Single Solitary Person Stepped on site today. Still no sign of the painter.. Lucy didnt even want to visit... There really isnt a point if the builder cannot be bothered to get any trades out to do any work...

Day 270 [+46]
today was to be the revised date for out practical completion walk through... but it was cancelled as the house is not in a state to be presented (no kidding its not finished)
with the scaffold coming down and the cleaners were on site to clean up the inside of the house.. and it did scrub up pretty nice.
still a bit of work to do however..when will it be finished?? good question... i have no idea and no one can tell us.

Wow a disapointing day today it was supposed to be our practical completion walkthrough today but we have not heard a single peep form anyone from Metricon to confirm or explain why it did not happen.,

well another step backwards today with the bathtub in the ensuite removed.....That was all.. i would not even call it a day where work was completed on site
A very disapointing day since we were told two weeks ago that the house would be transformed before our eyes... "Practical Completion" is on friday so they tentativly told us... but i can not see that happening.

No work on site today, nothing was Scheduled... Lucky as it Pelted rain all day... not that it should of made a difference as there is plenty of work to be completed on the inside still.
It is going to be a busy rest of the week.. "Practical Completion" is dues next week

Today saw some bricks delivered to site. the front columns are going to get demolished and rebuilt due to cracks and the miscolour. Also onsite saw the recent gyprock patching get sanded back in the kitcheni assume in preperation for the tilers

Again no work today.
it is really starting to annoy me and i get the feeling that the house is not a priority with the builder anymore. there is so much work left to do i dont see the house finishing anytime soon

Once again no one was working on site.. but after the departure of the site manager, the "Construction Manager" was due to visit the site to see what needed to be done on the house.. (lots still)

No work onsite today and to add insult to injury the site manager left the company so now we have no idea where the house stands in completion time or priority....

the last official last week of construction according to the original contract date.. i am pretty sure that this will be revised..
and they kicked of the last week by not even doing anything on the house.. apparently tomorrow is the day when it gets busy i guess we will see..

No actual work on site today but there was a little delivery of some sand and cement, i assume for the tilers to do the bedding for the wet areas hopfully tomorrow.
