Plumber returned to site today with a delivery of bathtubs and toilets and to finish of most of the remaining downpipes.

New brown bricks were delivered to site for the front of the house and and other area that needs fixing.

Today is Sunday.. and believe it or not there are painters working onsite.. the outside got some more paint as well as the internal walls got the second coat. out staris also got stained and look great.

the painters are a busy lot!!

Day 241 [+17]

A Very Busy Day on site today with the carpenter onsite for all of the day and FINALLY we got the cladding on the side of the house finished, the front door was adjusted slightly, the trimming around the alfresco was installed and under the stairs were fixed to what we originally asked for. as Well as the carpenter the tiler was onsite. The Kitchen and the Butlers Pantry had the tile splashback placed up and grouting on the walls in the upstairs bathrooms were completed.

Then the Brickies arrived to start to demolish our front columns.. and in doing so the managed to shatter the glass in our front door.

poor old door has been nothing but a problem.

Day 240 [+16]

Today saw some bricks delivered to site. the front columns are going to get demolished and rebuilt due to cracks and the miscolour. Also onsite saw the recent gyprock patching get sanded back in the kitcheni assume in preperation for the tilers

Again no work today.

it is really starting to annoy me and i get the feeling that the house is not a priority with the builder anymore. there is so much work left to do i dont see the house finishing anytime soon
