Today the painters were at it again completeing most of the first coat on the inside.

The painters arrived to site today with the interior ceilings and walls starting to get the first coat.

i didnt get a chance to walk around inside to much because they were still working well after 5:00 pm

Tilers returned to site today and completed the wall tiles in the Main Bathroom, Toilet, Downstars Powder Room and the Laundry. The Joins in the upstairs floor were also sanded flat.

Day 225 (Week 33) [+1]

With the contract build time technically completed and some work still to be finished, it is a little disapointing that they have taken this long to construct the house. it is not that far from completion but still they had enough time where rain days should not of made a difference

Some Stats over the 32 week Build

Rain Days = 16 (including 2 Sundays)
Days Worked on Site = 82
Days not worked on Site = 107
Public Holidays = 4
Sundays = 31 (they actually worked on 1 sunday too)

Onto Today......The tilers returned to site and they started on the wall tiles.. tiling the wals in the upstairs ensuite

Day 224

Today is the official last day of the contracted build time.. from now on we go into adjusted time....still do not have a date for "practical completion" or a handover date....

But onsite today there was a flurry of work

the Tilers were busy in the bathrooms tiling all the floors.

The Carpenter Returned to do the down stairs Skirting and hang a few more doors including the Butlers Pantry Sliding Cavity and the Garage Internal Acces Door...

then all our Ceasar Stone Bench Tops were installed in the Kitchen, Bathrooms and Laundry.

Also the Kitchen Sink, the Laundry Tub and the Basins for the Bathroons were installed..

a Busy Busy day on site...

Still no Front door tho.

Sunday today.. and it absolutly poured down all day.. good thing no one works today

A Suprise on site today there was atually workers on site... on a Saturday..

the Tilers Returned to do the cement beds for the remaining Bathrooms and the Laundry

it rained pretty today also after 5:00pm tho

Today saw all the tiles delivered to site, as well as the tiler sstarting the cement beds for the upstairs Bathroom and toilet

the carpenter didnt show today, the door and the cladding is still yet to be done.

Today the upstairs got a bit of work done with all the skirting and architraves fitted throughout the floor as well as the doors hung!

Today the carpenter appeared on site and started the work on the architraves, completeing them on the two windows and two doors in the rear room and in the studay.. apparently the carpenter left at 11:30 only working a couple of hours on site

also the plumber was onsite and hard connected the water to the house

the last official last week of construction according to the original contract date.. i am pretty sure that this will be revised..

and they kicked of the last week by not even doing anything on the house.. apparently tomorrow is the day when it gets busy  i guess we will see..
