Day 44

Today was a busy day, the brickies continued to work bricking Bob's walls up (we decided to call the house Bob) well up untill it rained a little bit completing more of the side wall and starting on the rear of the house

Today we also selected our tiles for the bathrooms and kitchen the colours look a little like this:

A very productive day with the Aircon sorted as well and a good quote on blinds and curtains to out fit the windows..

Day 43 (Week 7)

With the start of the 7th Week of construction, Today saw the brickwork started with 7 rows laid from the study around to the laundry

Day 42

Today the Brickies arrived on site and started to set up to start on the exterior, also was a big clean up on site and our stairs arrived too

Sunday = Rest Day = No Work = Lucy still doesnt have her kitchen Day

Day 40

Today saw the plumbers return to site to complete a pressure test on the pipes, they also installed our exterior taps... We have Water Connected

It is Also  Looking a bit overcast too so hopfully the rain will stay away

Day 39

No Changes today, I am starting to wonder if anyone actually works on a friday i doubt anything will happen over the weekend too.. hope the weather stays ok.. i want to see the bricks started on monday so no rain please!!!

Day 38

No Real Big Changes today, it does look like that someone went around and added some protection to the glass and frames of the windows and doors.

Day 37

Today saw the remaining windows get installed and some minor reinforcing to the frame officially finishing the framing up stage of the house.. with the rain recently the brick work will start on monday with approx 5 weeks of bricking to come.

Day 36 (Week 6)

No Changes today however i had a better chance to walk around the site an take some pics of the windows. tomorrow is a site meeting with the site manager.

It absolutly poured down today, yet onsite they still managed to get the windows in as well as the front balcony up.

Still Raining ... But today was no work Day...

we did however pit money down on the carpet for upstairs!!

Day 32

No Changes on Site today, but the windows will go in on monday and the bricky will start to set up on tuesday

in the mean time we have been told that any chipped bricks will not be used  and will be replaced....

Day 31

Today was delivery Day with the Bricks and Windows Arriving to site

The brown Bricks have little chips along the edges, from transportation, when picking these through the selection period this never came up and i hope that this does not effect the appearance of the house.. it is a little bit worrying
