Rain + The day after the Royal Wedding + Saturday = No Work.........

No Changes to the roof today with the ridge capping still to be finsihed, however the Air con people came in to do the rough in for the house including all the big stuff upstairs.

Day 73

The House has a Lid, the Roof tilers finished the main body of the house mostly with the exception of a few tiles that could not be laid due to the fall protection and scaffold. the tiles of on the peak will need to be cemented into place.

today saw the Roof Tilers onsite and they installed the Battons ready for the tiles

Today saw the fall protection and kick boards get put up for the roof tilers to start some work. also had the masonite delivered for under the eaves.

Day 64 (Week 10)

With the start of week 10 upon us, we saw the brickies finish up around the windows, take the front almond pylons up to the correct height and start the columns for the alfresco roof.

Day 63

Today saw the brickies mostly finish up on site with some dressing left to be finished around the windows and the front facade around the balcony to finish.

the facia boards and guttering is expected to go up tomorrow and the tiles start on wednesday.

we were given a rough estimate of around 9 weeks till finish (weather permiting).....how exciting

The brickies were on site today, but not sure how long for but they started bricking up around the front door and took the front pylons up a little higher.

Well the little brickie faries were busy today with the rear of the house finished as well as the kitchen/garage side.

Today saw some more brick work and they still reckon they will have the bricking finished tomorrow. they also have some more of the front colums done.

Today the brickies finished up bricking the garage and took the formal lounge corner up to the 1st floor level, they strongly believe they will have the bricking finished on friday with some easy tidy up jobs on saturday...
